I visited Lutheran Church of Redeemer in the Summer of 2015. One of the first things that struck me was the very sophisticated contemporary structure of the main entrance. The mosaic wall in the altar of the church stands 33' x 26' (858 sqft). By its size, it is the largest single mosaic in Eastern Europe. It's made out of 48 individual panels that were placed together on the wall during the installation. #mosaic #ploce

The sanctuary is a brick-walled octagon punctuated with softly colored stained-glass windows. The altar is the center of the room, dominated by a Tau cross, which is in the shape of a capital letter T. The granite of the large baptismal font at the entrance to the sanctuary is repeated in a slab under the altar, tying together the two sacraments of baptism and communion.
