A Timeless European-Inspired Design

The idea for the windows came from Rev. Edward Gleason, inspired by historic European chapels that used sepia-toned, colorless stained glass to create a sense of stillness and reverence. Instead of bright colors, these windows feature hand-painted details and warm sepia tones, allowing soft natural light to illuminate the chapel without overpowering its intimate atmosphere. This approach highlights the artistry and spiritual symbolism of each figure.

The Three Windows

  • The Good Shepherd – Christ with his flock, symbolizing care and protection.

  • Archangel Michael – A figure of strength and divine protection.

  • Archangel Gabriel – The messenger of God, graceful and serene.

Each circular window was painted, kiln-fired, and traditionally leaded to achieve depth, texture, and timeless beauty.
