A ring of light

For the Church of the Heart of Mary in Humac, in the Vrbas valley of central Bosnia, Stevan Stanisic designed 8 modern stained glass windows that run in a full circle just under the roof. Rays of blue, violet and turquoise rise from the center of each window, crossed by planes of yellow, rose and green, and every window mirrors itself around a fine red line.

Highlights

64 panels, about 441 square feet of glass, were made in the studio in Sombor, Republic of Serbia, and installed in August 2009 from a tall scaffold and ladder by Boban Marjanovic and Istvan "Pišta" Bala.
