Stanisic Studio made the stained glass of the Holy Trinity church in Novo Sarajevo in the late 1980s. After the siege of Sarajevo destroyed about 90% of it, Stevan Stanisic and his team remade all 10 windows as full figures.
2 generations, 1 church
In the late 1980s Atelje Stanišić, led by Milan Stanisic Senior, made the stained glass for the Church of the Holy Trinity in Novo Sarajevo, with the young Stevan Stanisic working beside his father. During the siege of Sarajevo about 90% of the windows were destroyed. After the war Stevan, then running the studio with his father as advisor, took all 10 windows to Sombor and made them again, keeping the themes but turning the round medallions into full figures. Stevan designed the new windows, and the artist Ljila Balović painted the glass.
